MorningStar Mission in Joliet, Illinois relieves the spiritual and physical hunger of the poor by providing food for the hungry, clothing for the needy, shelter for the homeless and the Gospel of Jesus Christ for all.
Since 1909, MorningStar Mission has served men, women, children, and entire families in Joliet and Will County, offering hope for the hurting through one-time meals and long-term recovery programs.

Children's Hunger Fund

Children’s Hunger Fund (CHF) has practiced Gospel-centered mercy ministry for more than twenty years. Since 1991, 99% of CHF’s total contributions—over 1 billion dollars in food and other aid—have been distributed through programs serving more than 20 million children across America and around the world.
Children’s Hunger Fund delivers food and other resources to the homes of children in need, but we don’t stop there. True hope comes through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We share God’s love with those we serve, knowing only He can meet their deepest needs.

Eve's Angels Meeting

Join us every other Thursday for this meeting, bible study, and outreach event to learn more about Eve's Angels and how you can help. Please download and complete this application and email it to Amy Tillman or bring it with you the night of the event.
Eve's Angels is a non-profit organization that ministers to women in the sex industry with the love of Jesus Christ.
The Chicago Chapter was opened in December of 2011, and Eve's Angels is looking to partner with Chicago area churches in the areas of:
- Outreach in Chicago area streets, strip clubs, massage parlors,
online escorting, porn conventions, etc. - Bible Study with Women
- Restoration House
- Educational Assistance
- Counseling
- Financial Assistance

HUNGER WALK TEAM!
Saturday, June 29th at Soldier Field in Chicago
Join Alicia's House for the Greater Chicago Food Depository's 28th Annual Hunger Walk on Saturday, June 29th at Soldier Field in Chicago. Come walk and raise money to help Alicia's House fight hunger.
We'll depart from Parkview's Orland Campus by bus at 6:45 AM,
and we'll return to Parkview at 12:30 PM.
The cost is $10 (donation goes to Alicia's House).

Chicagoland Prison Outreach
Chicagoland Prison Outreach ministers to men and women in the Cook County Jail, Cook County Sheriff's Boot Camp, Stateville Department of Corrections, and at their Career Center in Roseland. CPO provides inmates with services such as individual counseling, vocational training, job preparation, discipleship classes, and Christian worship services.

Volunteer at South Suburban P.A.D.S.
Volunteers are needed to prepare and serve meals,
as well as serve at P.A.D.S. shelters.
(All volunteers are trained to our guidelines and rules in advance of being placed in the shelter.)
South Suburban P.A.D.S. is an inter-faith program providing shelter and supportive services to homeless persons. Compassion, hospitality, and dignity are key characteristics of the P.A.D.S. program.
From October 1st through April 30th each year, South Suburban P.A.D.S. operates 33 shelters each week. These shelters are located throughout the south and southwest suburbs of Chicago. The most southern location is in Park Forest, while the most northern location is in Burbank.
P.A.D.S. shelters provide guests a safe, warm place to sleep, a nutritious evening meal, cold breakfast before they leave, and a sack lunch to take with when they leave the next morning.

The Bridge Teen Center
THE BRIDGE TEEN CENTER

The Bridge Teen Center is an innovative grassroots nonprofit community center for teenagers, located in Orland Park and serving the Chicago southland area. Their mission is to provide free programs during after-school and unsupervised hours where students can develop mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually in a safe environment.
There are many volunteer opportunities available, including:
- Bus Driver - for an hour or two on Wednesday afternoons

- Community promotion
- Café server - after-school hours
- Voice/guitar/keyboard/music instructors
- Program volunteer
- Licensed facilitators for support groups

- On-call after-school tutors

Store hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and is located at 351 W. 162nd Street, South Holland.
Homework Help & Tutoring
Volunteers are needed to help elementary and junior high students after school from
3:00 to 5:00 pm. The center is located at 15330 Broadway, Harvey.
Gallery of the Arts
Looking for professional artists and teachers to teach visual and performing arts to 3rd thru 12th Graders. The Gallery of the Arts is located at 15330 Broadway, Harvey.
Group Projects
Churches, schools, and business groups are welcome to do service projects at Restoration Ministries.
