What Do I Need to Know to Make Jesus My Savior?
GOD LOVES US MORE THAN ANYTHING…
Genesis 1:26-27 - He made us in His Image.
Genesis 3:8 - God walked in the garden everyday.
(Quality time with the big guy! God wants to have a relationship with us; that's the whole point of the Bible).
WE MESSED IT UP...
Genesis 3:4-6 - We sinned. To sin means to disobey God or to cause somebody else to slip up.
THERE'S A PRICE TO PAY FOR OUR MISTAKES...
Romans 6:23 - Dying is the price we pay for disobeying God but God gives us eternal life through Jesus.
GOD SENT HIS SON TO PAY THE PRICE FOR US…
Philippians 2:8 - Jesus died on the cross to pay for our mistakes
II Corinthians 5:21 - Jesus took all our bad stuff away.
NOW WE CAN LIVE FOREVER WITH GOD…
Romans 6:23b - God's gift to us is eternal life through Jesus.
IF WE OPEN THE GIFT THAT GOD GAVE TO US…
Ephesians 2:8-9 - God gives us life forever because He wants to...
not because we earned it. But we can respond to it.
