Calling all 4th & 5th graders! We are really excited to invite you to SuperStart!, the nation’s biggest preteen conference. Join us and encounter Christ through high-energy worship, interactive teaching, and small groups.

The cost is $100 through Friday, February 17 (after which the price increases to $110) and includes registration, bus transportation, hotel, and Saturday’s meals. The deadline to register is Friday, March 3. Please bring money for food on the way to Superstart.

Parkview Christian Preschool and Kindergarten are ministries of Parkview Christian Church. Our mission is to provide quality learning experiences in a safe, caring, Christian environment. All children are uniquely created in the image of God. In belief of this philosophy, we support a developmentally appropriate preschool that emphasizes Christian principles and encourages the physical, social, mental, and spiritual needs of each child.

Kindergarten (5 years old)

  • 5 years old (by 9/1/2017)
    4 days / week (Monday thru Thursday)
  • Extended Day: 8:30 am - 2:00 pm
    (Includes a hot lunch)
  • $90.00 / week

Preschool (3 year olds)

  • 3 years old (by 9/1/2017)
  • AM Session: 8:30 - 11:30 am
  • Monday/Wednesday or
    Tuesday/Thursday: $50 / week

Preschool (4 year olds)

  • 4 or 5 years old (by 9/1/2017)
  • AM Session: 8:30 - 11:30 am
  • Monday thru Thursday: $90 / week
  • PM Session: 12:30 - 3:30 pm
  • Tuesday thru Thursday: $67.50 / week

After School Care

  • Available for children enrolled in our programs who are at least 3 years old and are potty-trained.
  • Available Monday through Thursday from 11:30 am - 3:45 pm
  • $25.00 per day (in addition to tuition - includes a hot lunch)

  • We reserve the right to assign children to classrooms according to individual needs.

Mission

Mother's Day Out is a ministry of Parkview Christian Church.

Our main objectives are to:

  • minister to mothers, allowing them time for personal activities.
  • guide preschool children to adjust to other children as well as adults.
  • provide a safe environment for growth; intellectual, creative, social, musical, and spiritual.
  • share Christian beliefs and cultural values through stories, songs, pledges, and prayers.

Philosophy

All children are uniquely created in the image of God. In belief of this philosophy, we support a developmentally appropriate setting that emphasizes Christian principles and encourages the physical, social, mental, and spiritual needs of each child. Our goals are consistent with the following three principles:

REACH ~ We welcome all children of the community regardless of race, creed, socioeconomic status, physical or spiritual limitations.



RAISE~ We intend to raise children in a program that offers a well-rounded biblical environment. We also foster positive self-esteem and values through fun learning experiences.



RELEASE ~ We plan to release our children into the community with the spiritual, socio-emotional, and educational values they will need to be prepared for life.

Children 2 or 3 years of age on September 1st are welcome, and they do not need to be potty trained.


Programs Available

  • One day per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
  • Two days per week: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday
  • Program will run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

Before School Care

  • 8:30 to 9:30 am: $8 per day per child

Tuition

  • $20 per day for one child
  • Multi-child discounts available

The total cost is $135 which includes MOPS International membership, refreshments for you and your children, top-notch childcare, crafts, service projects, Hello Dearest magazine, and much more.



What is MOPS?

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers (birth through kindergarten), and we are a program for moms led by moms! We all want to be the best mothers we can, so we choose to grow, learn, and work together. We are a close community experiencing motherhood together.

What can I expect at a MOPS meeting?

Our meetings are a place to experience community and wisdom from fellow moms. We serve refreshments at every meeting and enjoy time to get to know other moms. We also enjoy a variety of speakers, crafts, service projects, games, and celebrations! If you’re not sure about joining, you are so welcome to come visit. Your first meeting is always free
and you are welcome to join us anytime throughout the year.

Is childcare provided?

Yes!! Childcare is provided at our bi-monthly meetings. We offer a preschool-style program where your children will play, craft, learn, sing, and make friends. Refreshments are provided for kids, as well.

When does MOPS meet?

MOPS meets the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month from 6:15 - 8:00 pm at Parkview’s Orland Park Campus. (183rd & Wolf Road)
