Parkview’s Strong Foundation Series is designed to help you take the next steps in your Christian walk. If you are unable to take a class at this time, don’t worry. The entire series will will repeat several times throughout the year.

Block 1: What We Believe

Parkview Christian Church offers our What We Believe class to help you become familiar with our mission and core values. This comprehensive 2.5 hour class is offered approximately once per month. Refreshments are provided.

Some of the topics included in this study are theology, christianity, church history, communion, baptism, and organization.

Completion of What We Believe is required for church membership, as is belief in Jesus Christ as the only Son of God, willingness to repent of sin and surrender to His lordship, confession of this faith before others, obedience to Him in Christian baptism, and continued faithful discipleship.

Block 2: Discovering Your Design

God calls each of us to a life of service...at home, at church, and in our communities. How do you find God’s purpose for your life?

The Discover Your Design class will help you get a handle on what motivates you, your natural abilities and personal style, and will help you discover the spiritual gifts that God has provided so that you can fulfill His purpose in your life.

Block 3: Getting to Know God

At some point in our lives, almost everyone thinks God is about Religion. Believe the right things, do the right things, go to the right church, and you are okay for the time being. Religion can squeeze the life and joy out of the spiritual life and can leave us feeling lifeless, bored, guilty and burdened.

Jesus came to free us from Religion and to show us that God wants a relationship with us...He wants to be friends. This class will help you discover how you relate best to God; how to read and study the Bible; how to pray effectively, and will end with Q & A so that you can walk out knowing what you need!

Block 4: Learning to Live in God

We all want a strong faith and a relationship with God that’s the real thing. When we watch others who have it, or read about those Christians through the centuries who had it, we know that’s what we want, too. We want more than moments of the power or presence of God in our lives...we want the living water that Jesus promised would be constantly flowing from inside of us (John 7:38).

Here’s some good news! God doesn’t leave it up to us to figure out how to keep the waters flowing. Just like Christians before us, we can learn how to “live in God” in all our circumstances, both good and bad. Living in God is not for saints or super Christians...it’s for all of us!

Practical Steps to Financial Freedom

Learn the Biblical principles of money management and specific ways to improve your financial health in a relaxed and interactive environment.

Topics covered will include:

• What the Bible says about money
• Debt and Credit
• Savings, giving, record keeping and budgeting
• Understand the culture we live in makes it so hard to develop sound financial habits

Cost: $15/person or $25/couple if they use the same workbook.
