2024 Poland: Care for Ukrainian Refugees

October 5 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Poland Serving Teams

This team will be serving alongside Polish churches at various Ukrainian refugee care centers in one of the 4 cities listed: Warsaw, Przemysl, Krakow, or Wroclaw. They will assist in various tasks to encourage and honor the refugees and the volunteers who have worked so hard this last year, such as food and clothing distribution, transportation, cleaning, and making meals.

Thank you for your interest in serving Ukrainian refugees in Poland. Currently almost all of our Poland trips are at capacity. If we have enough interest in an additional trip, we will consider adding one in the next 6-8 months. Please click this link to be added to a waiting list for an additional trip option to Poland.

A Note from the Parkview Global Team

Dear Parkview Friends,

Thank you so much for the work that you have done this past year to care for Ukrainian refugees as they crossed over the border into Poland, and for the kindness and love you’ve offered to the many caregivers that we have had the privilege of partnering with in Poland. Unfortunately, the war is continuing. As the war goes on, we have seen that the needs of the Polish & Ukrainian communities in Poland have changed. After much prayer, listening, and consideration, Parkview Global has decided to pause our trips into Poland at this time. We ask that you join with us as we pray for the war in Ukraine to end. During this time, we will continue to build relationships with our friends and colleagues in the US, Poland and Ukraine who are also passionate about serving others during this war. Should we see a change, or a specific need arise, we will assemble a team to assist our friends in Poland. If you would like to be notified for such a team, please use this link to join our interest group: https://my.parkviewchurch.com/PolandWaitlist

We are so proud of the 85 people who physically went to Poland with a Parkview team to serve in the last 12 months, for the 300 people who put together fun Kids Care Packs for Ukrainian children on the train platforms and refugee centers, for the ladies small group who crocheted hundreds of cute fidget animals to pass out to refugee children, and for the countless numbers of people who have prayed for and financially supported the work of caring for Ukrainian refugees during this war. We are grateful that we get to be a part of sharing Christ’s love in the darkest of places.

Thank you, Parkview, for loving the world like Jesus!

Sincerely,
The Parkview Global Team
