Shady Oaks Camp for People with Disabilities – Homer Glen Campus

It is always an honor (and fun) to help prepare Shady Oaks Camp for People with Disabilities for their camp seasons. This team will be raking leaves, cleaning cabins, painting, cutting grass and more. No supplies are needed, however gloves are encouraged. If you have any supplies that may help in camp maintenance, such as gas powered leaf blowers or weed whackers, please feel free to bring them along as well. If you love camp….you will love this team! This is a great opportunity for families and people of all ages. And food will be provided!! If you volunteer for this team, you will receive an informational email the week prior with the exact location, arrival times and what to expect. We will also introduce you to your Parkview team leader, who will be your guide for the entire serving experience.
