  • Chicagoland Prison Outreach – Orland Park Campus

    You will meet at the Orland Park Campus for a quick training and then break into small teams. Every team will include an experienced leader. Teams will then travel together to the home of a family of an incarcerated individual in the Chicago Heights / South Holland area. Parkview teams have built long-term relationships with these same families over the past years. The team simply spends time with these families. Pray with them. Laughs with them. And shares life together. Ages 16 and up. If you volunteer for this team, you will receive an informational email the week prior with the exact location, arrival times and what to expect. We will also introduce you to your Parkview team leader, who will be your guide for the entire serving experience.

  • Restoration Ministries – Orland Park Campus

    This team will meet and serve at the Restoration Ministries food pantry in Harvey. This is a great opportunity for families. The food pantry is set-up in the gym of the Restoration Ministries headquarters building every Saturday. When you arrive, your Parkview team leader will help you find the perfect place to serve and teach you everything you need to know. (Ages 6 and up.)

  • All God’s People Serving Day – Homer Glen Campus

    This team will meet at the All God’s People mobile distribution location in The Loop at 9:45 am. The team will first assist in setting-up a series of tents, tables and chairs to serve our unhoused friends. Volunteers will then serve food, distribute clothing, blankets and toiletries and just show love to all that visit. Ages 15 and up. If you volunteer for this team, you will receive an informational email the week prior with the exact location, arrival times and what to expect. We will also introduce you to your Parkview team leader, who will be your guide for the entire serving experience.

  • All God’s People – Warehouse – Homer Glen Campus

    This team will meet at the All God's People warehouse in Orland park. As the trucks arrive back from downtown Chicago, after serving the unhoused population of the Loop, they need to be unpacked and re-stocked for the next week. Your team will unload the remaining food, clothes and supplies from the trucks and then repack the bins. Ages 15 and up.   • Manteno Veteran’s Home – Motorcycle Run Picnic

    This team will be assisting with a picnic and raffle for the Veteran residents at the conclusion of the Prairie Construction Motorcycle Run. You will meet at the Veteran's Home and they will teach you everything you need to know. The best part is just getting to sit and talk to the veterans and hear their stories. Ages 14 and up.   • Manteno Veteran’s Home – 80’s Cover Band Party

    This team will be assisting veterans with mobility challenges to move from their rooms to the Rec Room for and 80s Rock Band concert. During the event, you may be assisting the residents with different tasks. You will meet at the Veteran's Home and they will teach you everything you need to know. The best part is just getting to sit and talk to the veterans and hear their stories. Ages 10 and up.   • Navarro Farm – New Lenox Campus

    This team will have the honor to work alongside our friends with intellectual and developmental disabilities to carry out tasks on the farm. The team will be helping Navarro with vital projects to get the farm ready for their upcoming farmer program, from tending the gardens to beautifying the grounds. Your efforts will make a real difference, creating a welcoming, vibrant space for our community and the farmers who rely on it. It’s a chance to spend time outdoors, get a little hands-on with the farm, and see the impact of your work come to life. 10am - 12 pm If you volunteer for this team, you will receive an informational email the week prior with the exact location, arrival times and what to expect.   • Exodus Projects: Mom’s Morning: Falling Into Place

    This team will be working alongside our partners at "The Exodus Projects" in Chicago Heights to facilitate an event to bless local Mom's in the area. Come and be a part of their hospitality team by welcoming their guests, serving breakfast, and participating in the craft and conversation. If you volunteer for this team, you will receive an informational email the week prior with the exact location, arrival times and what to expect. We will also introduce you to your Parkview team leader, who will be your guide for the entire serving experience.

  • Exodus Projects Food Pantry Lunch

    Every Friday, "The Exodus Projects" in Chicago Heights provide groceries and a hot lunch for members of their community. They are looking for volunteers to pack grocery bags, serve lunch, or visit with their guests while they enjoy the provided lunch. Do you like to cook? They are also looking for guest chefs!   • Feed My Starving Children

    This team will be packing and boxing meals that will be distributed to people in extreme food shortage around the world. If you have never been to Feed My Starving Children, they make serving really fun! This is a great opportunity for families of all ages to serve together. You will meet at the FMSC warehouse in Aurora and they will teach you everything you need to know. If you volunteer for this team, you will receive an informational email the week prior with the exact location, arrival times and what to expect.
