Non-cash Gifts
IRA Charitable Distributions
If you are over 70-1/2 years old, then you may want to consider giving through a qualified charitable distribution (QCD). A QCD allows you to distribute directly from your IRA to Parkview Christian Church and the amount is not reported as taxable income or a charitable deduction on your tax return. This amount can be counted toward the IRA’s annual required minimum distribution (RMD). Consult with your financial and/or tax advisor to analyze your particular situation and confirm tax benefits.

Donating appreciated stocks can be a powerful way to support the mission while stewarding your resources wisely. By giving from an investment you’ve grown, you may avoid capital gains taxes and still receive a charitable deduction for the full value of the gift. As always, we recommend connecting with your financial or tax advisor to understand how this applies to your personal situation.
