Questions & Answers
Parkview Kids ministry is provided for all kids (Birth-5th grade) at every worship service. We believe that children matter to God and that we have a responsibility to help them develop a relationship with Him.
In each classroom from birth to 5th grade, children will experience age-appropriate teaching and activities that will help them connect with God.
The safety of every child is a top priority. Background checks are run on all volunteers and Parkview Kids is monitored by our security team during the entire service.
Please check out the answers to our Frequently Asked Questions before a first-time visit.
The Garden (Birth to 2 years old)
Your child is precious to us and will receive individual attention while in our care. A simple curriculum is taught each week and we consider it a privilege to participate in forming your child’s earliest impressions of our wonderful God.
There are three rooms in The Garden:
- Babies (0-12 months)

The Backyard & The Clubhouse
Children in The Backyard (3 and 4-year-olds) and The Clubhouse (5-year-olds to Kindergarten) receive a look at the God who loves them, made them, and wants to be their friend forever. Using a hands-on approach to learning, we unfold Bible lessons and truths to the children through fun, structured activities.
A typical service consists of:
- Worship and praise time
- Bible lesson / Bible truth
- Bible crafts and games

The City (1st to 3 grades)
In The City, we look forward to helping our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders connect to God through fun worship, Bible teaching, and small group discussions.
The time our children spend together each weekend is invaluable as they form character-building relationships with their leaders and with the other kids in their groups.

The Alley (4th & 5th grades)
Our 4th and 5th grade students sum it up perfectly... “The Alley is SOOO COOL!”
From exciting worship to small group Bible study to fun activities that foster friendships, The Alley is a place that our pre-teens look forward to invading every single weekend!

Parkview Cares (Special Needs)
At Parkview Kids, we offer two different options for children depending on their individual special needs.
- We can schedule a one-on-one aide for children who need just a little extra assistance during our Kids services.
- Children with more specialized needs may attend the Parkview Cares class where they will experience the same great curriculum and worship time, but at a modified pace and in a setting more conducive to their needs.
Parkview Cares for Kids meets Sundays at 10:30 am.
