Your privacy is important to us at Parkview Church! This policy covers usage of the website, and Rock Database website. Please be aware that Parkview Church does not have control over the information collected via our streaming websites. Facebook and YouTube have their own privacy policies that we recommend reviewing before using those platforms.

This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our website.

The information collected helps us to better serve those who visit our website and ensure that we are able to REACH people and point them towards Christ using our internet presence.

The safety and security of your PII is very important to us. Any information stored is housed in our protected servers, which are constantly scanned for infections.  Access to this information is highly regulated and logged every time an authorized individual accesses your information. Authorized personal or only given access to information that is pertinent to their needs (i.e. giving information is regulated to only those needing to see that information) Parkview Christian Church does not store any bank account information and all online monetary donations are processed through our vendor PushPay (https://pushpay.com/legal-center/privacy/)

From time to time Parkview Christian Church will have the opportunity to purchase items. Sales transactions are processed trough Square (https://squareup.com/us/en/legal/general/privacy) All sales are conducted on our secured network. Parkview Christian church is not responsible for transactions processed on site or online by a third party.

Fair Information Practices
The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.

Any information collected under this current policy will remain bound by the terms of this privacy policy. After the changes take effect, all new information collected, if any, will be subject to the revised privacy policy.

MINORS UNDER 13

When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States’ consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children’s privacy and safety online.

Parkview does not collect PII from individuals under the age of 13. In the event we collect data at an event, it is the responsibility of the Parent/Guardian to give that information. This information can at any time be collected or removed from our system at the request of the parent/guardian. This can be done by e-mailing data@parkviewchurch.com

 We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.
