    GriefShare
    Support during loss & grief

    Tuesdays starting February 6
    7:00 to 9:00 pm | Orland Campus
(183rd & Wolf Road, Orland Park)

If you've lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, it may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. You‘ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

That’s the reason for GriefShare, a group led by those who understand what you are experiencing, and offer support for people grieving the loss of someone close.

Because we believe that true healing from a hurt as deep as the death of a loved one must be built on a relationship with Jesus, Grief Share helps point you toward Christ as the only lasting source of healing.

The $20 cost for GriefShare materials can be paid at your first session.

All are welcome and no registration is necessary.

Questions? Contact Patti Oswald at 708-478-7477, Ext. 235.

    Stephen Ministry

There are times when every one of us experiences difficulties - the loss of a loved one, discouragement, disability, loneliness, job loss, relationship problems, illness, spiritual crisis, and the list goes on.

God never intended for us to go through these experiences alone. That’s why God has brought us together as a congregation, and we have started Stephen Ministry.

Stephen Ministers are members of our church who have received 50 hours of care-giving training to minister to people experiencing a crisis, facing a challenge, or simply going through a rough time. A Stephen Minister will meet with you privately and confidentially on a regular basis to listen, encourage, support, and remind you of Christ’s presence in your life.

If you’d like to learn more about Stephen Ministry for yourself or a family member (or for a friend, neighbor, co-worker, or someone else you know - inside or outside our church), please contact Stephen Ministry at 708-478-7477, Ext. 611.
