An Update From Pastor Tim Harlow – January 18, 2026
An Update on Our Lead Pastor Search – December 11, 2025
Dear Parkview Family,
As Pastor Todd Clark recently shared, we are continuing our discussions and interviews with the lead pastor candidates. With Christmas now upon us, these conversations will naturally slow for a few weeks. This brief pause gives each candidate space to focus on leading their Christmas services and to enjoy the beauty of the season with their families.
As we move through this sacred time of year, we would be grateful for your continued prayers for:
-
Wisdom and discernment for our elder team and search committee
-
Peace and clarity for each candidate and their family as they seek God’s direction
-
Strength and joy for the candidates’ current churches as they prepare to welcome guests and share the hope of Jesus this Christmas
We’re looking forward to stepping into the new year with fresh energy and expectation for all that God has ahead. Thank you for your faithful prayers and steadfast support. Your partnership means more than you know.
In Christ,
The Parkview Board

The depth of conversations so far has been incredibly promising, These leaders bring hearts for Jesus, vision for our mission, and a love for reaching people, raising followers, and releasing them to transform our community. Our Slingshot consultant continues to affirm the high caliber of individuals in this pool, and we’re filled with hope as we listen for God’s clear direction.
In the coming weeks, we’ll move toward narrowing the field and potentially entering onsite visits as we seek confirmation on the pastor God is calling to lead Parkview forward. The board is moving with intention but not rushing the process. We want to ensure a good fit for both our church and for the candidate and their family, honoring God’s timing above our own.
Thank you for continuing to be the church by loving boldly, serving joyfully, and celebrating lives changed by Jesus every week!!

An Update on Our Lead Pastor Search – September 18, 2025
We’re just over a month into our search for a new Lead Pastor, and we’re so encouraged by the progress so far! Right now, we’re in Step 2 of Phase 2, where our partners at Slingshot Group are connecting with and carefully screening potential candidates. They’re having conversations with people who’ve expressed interest and also reaching out to leaders they believe could be a great fit for our Parkview family. Our consultant at Slingshot shared that the quality of the candidates they’ve spoken with has been really encouraging, such a hopeful start!
In the next few weeks, we expect to move into Step 3, where Slingshot will present the first group of qualified candidates to our board hiring team. Not long after that, we’ll step into Step 4: the interview process. Each step reminds us how God is faithfully guiding this journey, and we’re excited to see what He continues to do.
A lot of you have asked, “How can I support the search for our new Lead Pastor?” We’re so thankful for your prayers and love for Parkview! Recently, former Lead Pastor Tim Harlow shared some encouragement about this season, reminding us to keep our hearts set on supporting the future leader by continuing to be the church. So, let’s do exactly that: let’s keep loving, serving, and praying together as we trust God to bring the right person to lead us forward.
How Can I Pray?
1. Start with gratitude. Let’s thank God for His incredible goodness to our church family! Each week we get to celebrate lives being transformed, people saying yes to Jesus, taking the step of baptism, and new families joining us to begin their faith journey. We are so grateful for His faithfulness!
2. Pray for the candidates. As leaders consider their next steps with Parkview, let’s lift them up. Ask God to give them wisdom, peace, and clarity in their decisions. Pray for their families too, that they would be encouraged, assured, and confident in God’s plan.
3. Pray for our church. Ask God to keep us united and passionate about our mission: reaching people with the love of Jesus, raising them to follow Him faithfully, and releasing them to transform our community. May His purpose keep us focused and full of fire!

An Update on Our Lead Pastor Search – July 31, 2025
Dear Parkview Family,
We want to take a moment to share where we are in the search for our next Lead Pastor. Your continued prayers, patience, and encouragement mean the world to our church. We’re leaning into God’s guidance every step of the way, and we’re grateful to be walking through this season together with you.
To help provide clarity on where we are, we’ve outlined the process into three key phases based on the framework we’re following. This approach will allow us to move forward with wisdom, prayer, and unity as we seek the leader God has prepared for Parkview.
Phase 1: Preparation (June – August 2025)
In this foundational phase, we’re setting the stage for a healthy and Spirit-led search process. We’ve partnered with Slingshot Group, a trusted search firm, to help guide us. On July 10, they completed a discovery visit to get to know our church and community more deeply. During this phase, our Board is also collaborating closely with Slingshot to develop a clear candidate profile and job description that reflects the heart, values, and future vision of Parkview.
Phase 2: Search Process (Starting mid to late August 2025)
Beginning soon, the search firm and board will conduct a nationwide search to identify and engage potential candidates. This process includes interviews, assessments, reference checks, and onsite visits. While there’s no fixed timeline, we are committed to moving with both intentionality and flexibility, trusting God’s timing and direction above all else.
Phase 3: Placement
When we reach this final phase, we will present an offer to our top candidate and begin planning a thoughtful transition from their current church as they step into this new role and season with Parkview.
We’ll be keeping you in the loop with regular monthly updates so you can stay informed and most importantly, continue to pray with us throughout this journey.
Your love for Jesus and commitment to the mission His mission at Parkview inspires us every day. The unity and faith we’ve seen across our community during this season have been beautiful reminders of God’s faithfulness. As we look ahead, we invite you to cover the process in prayer in these specific ways:
1. Wisdom and Discernment for the Board and Search Team:
Pray that God grants us clear guidance to recognize the pastor He has prepared for Parkview.
2. Protection and Preparation for Candidates:
Ask the Lord to bless those being considered, guarding their hearts and families during this time of transition.
3. Unity and Growth for Our Congregation:
Seek God’s hand over Parkview, that we would draw closer to Him and one another, emerging stronger through this process.
We’re honored to walk through this season with you. Your continued faithfulness, prayer, and unity make a lasting impact as we seek the next leader God is calling to Parkview.
Let’s keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, stay rooted in prayer, and trust that God is already at work, preparing the path ahead.
With gratitude,
The Parkview Board

Lead Pastor Update – June 2, 2025
Dear Parkview Family,
We want to share an update as we continue walking through this season of transition together. When Pastor Ted and the board first announced his transition, the details of the teaching rotation at Parkview were still being finalized. Pastor Ted is now focusing on what is ahead for his future ministry. Please join us in lifting up Pastor Ted and his family — asking God to guide their next steps and bless their journey ahead. Pastor Ted has also expressed his prayers for Parkview.
As we look to the months ahead, we’re grateful for the strong teaching team God has provided. Pastor Todd Clark, who has faithfully served as part of our teaching team for the past decade, will be stepping into a larger role. Former Senior Pastor Tim Harlow—already on the schedule for 2025—will also be teaching a few additional weekends. We’ll continue to hear from longtime Parkview pastor Casey Tygrett and regular contributor Pastor Jodi Hickerson. We’re also excited to welcome guest voices including Pastors Mark Moore, Steve Cuss, and Gene Appel. We thank God for these trusted teachers who are investing in Parkview during this season.
When it comes to finding our next lead pastor, we are committed to moving forward with care, intentionality, and patience. The board is prayerfully leading this process, leaning on wisdom from experienced pastors, ministry coaches, and transition experts to help guide our steps. We’re not rushing—we want to listen well, wait on God’s timing, and be thoughtful in every decision. As the process continues, we will keep you informed with updates here.
Transitions like this can stretch us—but they also make space for God to do what only He can do. We believe He is already at work in our church family, and we are praying God’s best for Pastor Ted, Amy, and their family. Thank you for your prayers, your faith, and your partnership as we move forward together.
Sincerely,
The Parkview Board
