What Does Parkview Christian Church Believe?
- Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, who died for our sins and arose from the dead.
(1 Corinthians 15:1-8 & John 3:16) - The Bible is the inspired word of God – a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.
(2 Timothy 3:16 & Psalm 119:105) - Every person has worth as a creation of God, but all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
(Romans 3:23) - Forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 3:16)
- Those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized into Him.
(Romans 10:9 & Acts 2:38) - The Church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and exists to evangelize the lost and edify the saved.
(Ephesians 4:1-16) - Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
Membership and Leadership
How Do I Become a Member at Parkview Christian Church?
From the moment you step inside, you can call this your church home. We don’t offer formal membership, so you won’t officially “join” as a member, but we encourage you to dive into the life and mission of our church. You can get fully involved by volunteering with a ministry team, joining a small group, inviting others to join you for a visit, or contributing financially. Those who actively participate in these ways are considered our members.
Why Doesn’t Parkview Offer Conventional Membership?
At Parkview, we see membership as an active, ongoing commitment and engagement with this community rather than a one-time choice. The best ways to make Parkview your home is to serve in a ministry area, participate in a small group/Bible study with others, invite people to join you for worship at one of our campuses, and generously support the mission of Jesus through your financial resources.
Additionally, in the New Testament we see that baptism was a public declaration of a person’s commitment to Jesus and “membership” in His community (Acts 2:38–41). It symbolized a connection to Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection (Rom. 6:1–4) and marked a person as belonging to God before the church and the world (Matt. 28:19).
Baptism is where your faith becomes visible, and you publicly declare yourself a member of God’s church. It’s the moment you boldly proclaim your allegiance to Jesus as His follower. We encourage every person that is a follower of Jesus to follow His example and be baptized.

What is the New Testament Understanding of Pastor/Elder, and How is it Applied in the Context of Parkview?
What Does Leadership Look Like at Parkview and is Parkview Part of a Denomination?
Parkview Christian Church functions under a leadership structure that includes a volunteer Board of Directors and a Lead Pastor, utilizing a framework known as “policy governance.” This approach distinctly separates the broader oversight of the organization from its everyday operations. Within this system, the Parkview Board of Directors establishes the objectives the church should pursue, the principles it should reflect, and the guidelines it must adhere to. The Lead Pastor is a member of the board. The Lead Pastor, along with the staff, is then responsible for devising and executing initiatives and activities to achieve those objectives, uphold those principles, and comply with those guidelines.
No, Parkview is not a member of a denomination. Parkview is a non-denominational, independent, Christian Church.
